Join Litter Free Upland as we return to one of our most frequently maintained cleanup areas. With 78 community cleanups completed and more than 9,567 pounds of litter removed citywide, we're continuing the work of keeping Upland clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

About the event
Join us for a community cleanup along the Pacific Electric Trail near the Upland Public Library.
This area is one of our most visited cleanup locations and has benefited from repeated volunteer efforts over the past year. While conditions have improved, litter continues to accumulate from pedestrian traffic, wind, and illegal dumping.
We begin promptly at 8:00 AM with a brief safety meeting and volunteer orientation. Afterward, volunteers will spread out along the trail and surrounding areas to collect litter for approximately 90 minutes. At the end of the event, we gather for a weigh-in, group photo, and service-hour verification.
Litter Free Upland has organized 77 community cleanups, removed more than 9,306 pounds of litter, and contributed over 1,400 volunteer hours toward beautifying our city.
No experience is necessary. Families, students, clubs, businesses, and first-time volunteers are welcome.
