Litter Free Upland is a community cleanup and beautification program of focused on restoring pride in public spaces through volunteer-driven service. Our mission is simple: bring people together to create a cleaner, safer, and more connected community.

Since launching, our volunteers have organized over 75 public cleanups throughout Upland, removing thousands of pounds (over 9,000 pounds) of litter, illegal dumping, and debris from parks, trails, neighborhoods, and commercial corridors. Beyond picking up trash, we are building a culture of civic pride, environmental stewardship, and community involvement.

Donations directly support the continued growth and operation of our program. Current fundraising efforts are focused on establishing reliable monthly donors to help cover fuel, insurance, and operating costs for the new Litter Free Upland community service van. This vehicle allows us to transport cleanup supplies, safety equipment, hydration stations, educational materials, and volunteers to cleanup locations across the city.

• Trash bags, grabbers, gloves, and safety vests

• Snacks and drinks for volunteers during events

• Volunteer shirts and outreach materials

• Fuel, maintenance, and insurance costs

• Community education and youth engagement efforts

• Day-to-day nonprofit operating expenses that keep weekly cleanups possible
