Litter Free Upland Volunteers Remove Over 1 Ton of Trash in Upland, California

On Saturday 8/30/2025, our Litter Free Upland volunteer group reached an exciting milestone for the community. Eighteen dedicated volunteers came together to collect 182 pounds of trash from the Foothill and Campus area. With this effort, our group has now removed more than 2,000 pounds (over 1 ton) of litter in Upland, California!

With 4 people not in the photo, that means each person picked up 10lbs each. Thank you!

Upland Community Cleanup Efforts Make a Difference

Since starting, Litter Free Upland has been focused on the beautification of Upland through community action. Each cleanup event brings together neighbors, families, and city leaders who want to see a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming city.

Every bag filled and every pound of trash collected helps reduce pollution, protect local wildlife, and restore pride in our neighborhoods. As our group grows, the positive impact on Upland continues to expand.
